I thought you of all people would back me on this. It's an opinion, carefully pieced together from all the clippings and stories that have been put oot regarding the Operation.

If you look at CNN, today is the official end of Operation Anaconda, with Operation harpoon being a convenient subplot. In actual fact, it was the main operation once the Yanks started to falter in the cold, but the media were told to make it seem like Anaconda was still the 'Main ooperation'.

I don't buy it. I know Canadians are commanding American troops on Operation Harpoon. I know they were going back to Gardez where Operation Anaconda was slowly progessing, and i did see on CNN the claim that Operations Anaconda finished as a great success.

What does it matter anyway. If your theory is correct then Americans might have more faith in our seemingly feable military. It will just further our military friendship. It doesn't mean the Americans couldn't do it, or even that we can do it better, it just means that with the coalition of American and Canadian troops we were successful.

And that wasn't merely an opinion because you cited verifiable stats (i.e. 400 dead that couldn't be found).

Cannuck power. I gerneally don't like Americans very much at all (on a collective basis), but in seriousness im not one to asses greater worth of the people of a nation (although i love to in jest).

Real funny about Operation Anaconda. The Canadians have wrapped up the operation and returned to the airbase, after having sorted it out for the Yanks.

It's no secret that the Operation was dragging out due to the Yanks inability to get the job done. The Yanks, as has been well documented, were being pushed back by the Taliban and Al Queda fighters, so central command pulled out 400 of "Americas Best" and sent in the Canadian infantry to finish the job the Yankee Doodles couldn't. The Canucks were in and out in about 4 days, but most of the enemy had fled while the Yanks were pulling back. The Canucks were much more effective because they aren't pussies who can't handle the cold weather and the rugged terrain which isn't dissimilar to western Canada.

Canucks take over and scoured the caves but found few of the alleged 400+ that the Yanks claim had been killed. Talk aboot spin doctoring.

Can't wait to see the hollywood version of this latest pile of crap.
